Have something worth reading? Send it.
The blog is where the shorter writing lives — clinical notes, teaching, literature, and whatever the day brought. We welcome pieces from doctors, students, teachers, researchers and writers, on medical and non-medical subjects alike. Every piece is published under its author's own name.
Opens your mail app to drmohan.magazine@gmail.com with the subject “Submission for the Blog”. Writing by hand instead? Use that subject so it reaches the right pile.
Last date to send
There is no cut-off date — the blog is open all year.
When it will be published
Published on the blog once it has been read and edited, usually within two weeks.
What we are looking for
Medicine and healthcare, teaching and study, English and language, literature, science, and reflections from practice.
How to send it
Email your piece as a Word document, a PDF or plain text, with a short note about yourself.
Before you send
- Original work only — not published elsewhere.
- Between 400 and 1,500 words. A short, clear piece beats a long, padded one.
- English or বাংলা, whichever you write best in.
- Include your full name, your designation and a one-line biography for the by-line.
- Cite anything clinical, so a reader can check it.
Every piece is read and you will hear back either way. Nothing is published without your name on it, and nothing is edited beyond clarity without asking you first.
