Limits of this score. The GBS is designed to identify the LOW-risk patient who needs nothing — a score of 0 (or ≤1) is the only part of the range that reliably changes management. It uses no endoscopic findings, so it cannot replace the post-endoscopy Rockall score for rebleeding risk.
