Six-week risk of a major adverse cardiac event in undifferentiated chest pain, scored 0–10.

Limits of this score. HEART is for UNDIFFERENTIATED chest pain. It does not apply once ST elevation, a clearly positive troponin or an unstable patient has declared itself — those bypass the score entirely. It also says nothing about aortic dissection or pulmonary embolism, which have to be excluded on their own merits.
